Sensory Sunday

July is Disability Awareness Month and Cameron Park Zoo is always striving to be more inclusive and accessible to all guests who come to visit.

To make the zoo less stimulating to those with sensory needs, we will be hosting a Sensory Sunday on July 28^th, where we will open from 10am-11am for those who would like to have a quieter zoo experience. This Sensory Sunday will involve turning off our waterfalls and other loud water features, a guide to quiet areas in the zoo, and free sensory bags that will be available to checkout at admissions during your zoo visit.
