Spring Break is almost here, and things are about to get WILD at Cameron Park Zoo! From March 8-23, we’re expecting higher than usual attendance — so plan ahead to make your visit bear-y fun!
Here are a few helpful tips to make your trip the best in the nest:
Arrive early — beat the herd and get first dibs on the best views!
Roar-some fun awaits! — special keeper chats, feedings, and wild surprises are planned each day.
Feeling peckish? Plaza Cafe & Treetops are open, plus we’ll have extra food trucks rolling in to keep you fueled for your wild day. Outside food & drinks are permitted as well.
Zoo Hours:
Monday-Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Last entry daily at 4:30 PM — don’t be late, or you’ll miss out on the mane event!
Pro tip: Snag your membership or purchase tickets online ahead of time to skip the lines — because who wants to spend Spring Break waiting in line when there are giraffes to visit?
Grab a FREE ride on the H.O.T Hopper Shuttle and visit Cameron Park Zoo, Mayborn Museum Complex, Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum, and the Dr Pepper Museum! You can catch the shuttle at any of these attractions or from Heritage Square in downtown Waco.
The H.O.T. Hopper will run every day from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. through March 23 to accommodate Spring Break crowds.
