WACO, TEXAS (April 12, 2024) – The Cameron Park Zoological and Botanical Society proudly announces the appointment of Kristi Webb as its new Executive Director.

Kristi began working with the Society as a Marketing Assistant in 2009. Demonstrating exceptional skills and leadership, Kristi was promoted to serve as the Membership and Rentals Manager after graduating with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree from Tarleton State University.

During her 15 years tenure, Kristi exemplified unwavering commitment and innovative leadership, notably stepping into the role of Interim Director from April 2023 to April 2024. Her remarkable performance during this period solidified her as the ideal candidate to lead the Society into its next phase.

Kristi Webb succeeds Terri Cox, who retired in March 2023 after years of dedicated service to the Society. “Kristi has been a valuable employee for many years,” remarked Christian Hack, President of the Cameron Park Zoological and Botanical Society board. “Her exceptional performance as Interim Director showcased her capabilities and dedication. We are thrilled to have her lead the Society forward.”

As the new Executive Director, Kristi Webb is poised to build upon the Society ‘s legacy of wildlife, conservation, education, and community engagement. Her vision and leadership will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success and growth of the organization.
